Abstract:
A system to maximize the reduction of carbon dioxide emissions by using fuel cells in houses and generating electricity effectively would be a boon to the environment. Previous work has proposed the possibility of trading electricity between houses, allowing the power-generating institution to charge a wheeling rate for facilitating this, and using electric vehicle car sharing within this arrangement. Recently, electric vehicles have been garnering attention for use in a Vehicle-to-Home (V2H) energy transfer system. We acquired data from several houses with attached fuel cells and solar power generation devices and analyzed the influence of introducing a V2H system such as those described in previous work. Using this analysis, we propose an optimal system for houses with fuel cells and solar panels; this proposal considers all stakeholders.
